Commissioner McBride being absent. Navor Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for December 4, 1956 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk I be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, Trevathan and 1•Tayor Jacobs (4). Water Commissioner Lally.. offered motion that the petition of Paul Stambaugh and Connection P.Stambaurh wife, Maribel Stambaugh, for permission to make one (3/4) inch connection to a 6 -inch Court Ave water pipe line owned by the Paducah 'dater Works so as to furnish water to one residenc only located upon lots 13, 14 and 15 in Block "C" of Sunset Court Addition to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, fronting 80 feet on the South side of Court Avenue in McCracken County, Kentucky, and outside the Corporate Limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, Ii be received and filed and that the request petitioned for therein be granted subject to the terms and conditions in said petition. Commissioner Clark offered motion that an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE REPEALI14G AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: TAN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE CITY TREASURER TO WITHHOLD THE STATUTORY FEE OF 4% FOR THE COLLECTION OF SCHOOL TAXES LEVIED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND PROVIDING FOR THE DISPOSITION OF THE FEES SO COLLECTED AND RETAINEDT, WHICH IWAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY ON DEC04BER 20, 1955", be adopted. Adopted on call. of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (4), Commissioner Lally offered motion t hat an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE CITY TREASURER TO UITHHOLD A FEE OF 2% FOR THE COLLECTION OF SCHOOL TARES LEVIED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND PROVIDING FOR THE DISPOSITION OF THE FEES SO COLLECTED AND RETAINED", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (4). Commissioner Trevathan offered motion that an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH SINCLAIR REFINING COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF ALL REGULAR AND ETHYL GASOLINE, MOTOR OIL, DIESEL FUEL, CHASSIS LUBRICANT, GEAR LUBE OIL, HYDRAULIC OIL, KEROSENE AND ANTI -FREEZE FOR USE BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY FOR THE PERIOD OF TIRE FROM JANUARY 1, 1957 TO JUNE 30, 1957, AND PRESCRIBING THE TER1•1S AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SAID PURCHASES SHALL BE RUDE", be adopted.
