At a Regular Meeting of the Hoard of Commissioners held In the Commission
Meeting
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.1M. on October 9, 1956, Mayor
Jacobs presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Clark,Lally, McBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (5).
i•ayor Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for October 2,
1956 be waived and that the 'Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be
approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark,
Lally, McBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (5).
Petition �� Commissioner Clark offered the folloi-ring motion: I move that the petition
raze house
1218 Jackson of Bobbie E. Shoulta, and others, requesting that a house at 1218 Jackson Street be
razed and cleared from said location,be received and filed.
I further move that this petition be referred to the Chief of the Fire
Department of the City of Paducah for investigation and recommendation. Adopted on
call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs
(5).

Pat D. Commissioner Lally offered motion that Pat D. Trevathan be appointed as a

the City Manager, at his on expense, a satisfactory medical report as to his physical

Resignation, Commissioner McBride offered motion that the resignation of Pat Lally as a

Commission, to George Jacobs, taycr, stating the need for financial assistance from

the City Treasurer be, and hi is hereby, authorized and directed to issue a check to
Riv.;rside hospital Commission in the sum of •1125,000.00 and charge same to the

Commissioner McBride offered motion that an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE
ACCEPTING THE BID OF GEORGE R. THOMAS TRUCK & TRACTOR COMPANY FOR THE SALE TO THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY OF ONE THREE-FOURTHS TON TRUCK, CAB AND CHASSIS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT.TO PURCHASE SAME", be adopted. Adopted on
call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride, Trevathan and Mayor
Jacobs (5).
On motion the meeting adjourned.
