Add to Paul =4r c At a Regular i:eeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7;30 P,Id. on June 22, 1956, Mayor Jacobs presided and upon call of the Roll the folloriing answerod tC their names: Commissioners Clark, IlcBride,Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (4). Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the executed copies o£ the notice of Called Meeting to be held at 7;30 P.id. on June 22, 1956, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, McBride, Trevathan and I-layor Jacobs (4). / Commissioner McBride offered the following motion: I move that the petition of Lena Tucker to make one three quarter (3/4) inch copper line connection to a six inch water pipe line owned by Paducah llater Works, so as to furhish Crater to one residence only upon a tract of land located on Steuart Nelson Park Road or Stewart Ilolson Drive, beginning at a point on the west side of said road 1028.5 feet in a northerly direction from the Hinkleville Road, or U. S. 60, and extending thence northwardly along the :•rest line of said Stewart Nelson Drive 363 feet and extending back from said road for a unifc depth of 300 feet, owned by said petitioner, located in McCracken County, Kentucky and outside the corporate limits of the City of Paducah, be received and filed, and that the request petitioned for therein be granted, subject to the terms and conditions in said petition. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, McBride, Trevathan and Iayor Jacobs (4). Commissioner Clark offered motion that J. W. Fletcher be appointed a special park policeman for the month of June 1956 at a salary of 1,1160.00 per month, and that he be also appointed as such for the month of July 1956 at the same salary. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, McBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (4). Commissioner Clark offered motion that Sam Reeder, a lieutenant in the fire department of the' City of Paducah be promoted to a captain in said department at a salary of 6300.00 per month, effective July 1, 1956. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, i•IcBrido, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (4). i Commissioner Clark offered motion that the Board of Comririssioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to Will Newbern of the 'lest one-half of Lot I;o. 20 in Block. :o. 7 of the Rushin Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery ,rave.
