Mayor Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for March 20, 19 56 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Gangnath, McBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (5)• Petitions etc Commissioner McBride offered motion that the letters and petitions per - Daylight Savings Time taining to daylight saving time, be received and filed. Sell Cemetery/ Commissioner Clark. offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve Lot to Carl ✓ E. Murry the sale by the City of Paducah to Carl E. Murry of the South one-half of Lot No. 13 in Block No. 5 on Brooks Avenue between Rushing Street and Holt Street in the Mausoleum Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery for the sum of $120.00, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery lot. Deed from Bd. / Commissioner Clark offered motion that the deed from the.Board of Education of Education to City of the City of Paducah, Kentucky dated March 21, 1956, recorded in Deed Book 372, page Garfield Sch. property 23 in the McOracken County Court Clerk's office, conveying the Garfield School property to the City of Paducah, be received and filed. B. transfer from Nila E. Warren and her husband, W. D. Warren to A. B. Meachan of the north Meacham one-half of Lot No. 553, in Block No. 38 of Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to make the proper ttansfer:-on the Cemetery Register. Sills of to A.D.Sillsl private Paducah, Kentucky, has made application for permit as private collector for collecting, collector transporting and disposing of refuse as provided in Article VI, Section 4-A of the Refuse Collection and Disposal Ordinance, such collection to be made from Longfellow, Morgan and Whittier Schools. I, therefore, move that such permit be granted to him for a period of six month' from this fate upon payment in advance of the sum of ;)12.00 for said six-month period at the rate of $2.00 per month.
