At a Called 1ieeting• of the Board of Commissioners hold in the Coixrission
i;hanber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 11:00 A.b:. on February 6, 1956,
1§ayor Pro Tem Trevathan presided in the absence of mayor Jacobs, and upon call
of the Roll the follovrinE answered to their names: Commissioners Clar'_t, Gangnath,
I•icBride and Kayor Pro Tem Trevathan (4).
Mayor Pro Tem Trevathan offered motion that the copies of the Notice of
Called I:eeting to be held at 11:00 A.M. on February 6, 1956, be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Gannath, idcBride and
aycr Pro Tem Trevathan (1;.).
Commissioner 11cBride offered the follovring motion: I move that the charges
preferred by Lloyd C. Emery, City I;anager of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, ar;ainst
the defendant, Omar Eugene Lae, a police officer of said city, for the roprimvzding,,
suspension or removal of said defendant from his position as such police officer,
be received and filed; that a hearing of said charges be held on February 9th, 1956,
at the hour of 6:30 o'clock P.,. in the Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah,
Kentucky, after notice of said charges has been served upon the defendant at least
two days before such hearing. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Clark, Gangnath, 11cBride and %<lyor Pro Tem Trevathan (1;).
On motion the meeting adjourned.
