De -7 and being sufficiently advised that the defendant has been guilty of violating Rules 11 and 20 of an ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners on January 7, 1947, which rules read as follows: I'll. Any immoral habits, lascivious or improper conduct not herein enumerated which would render him an unfit or improper person for employment in the Police Department. 1120. Leaving his regular beat unless in the per- formance of duty, or upon order of a superior officer. it is therefore the judgment of the Board of Commissioners that the defendant, Louis E. Sumner be, and he is hereby, suspended from duty in the police depart - ii for a period of thirty (30) days, said suspension to be without pay and effective immediately. Adopted on call of the Rolls Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (4). On motion the meeting adjourned.
