Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah november 11, 1955 _
At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 9:00 A.M. on November 11, 1955,
I-ayor Cherry presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their
names: Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5).
Mayor Cherry offered motion that copies of the Notice of Called Meeting
to be held at 9:00 A.M. on Eovember 11, 1955, be received and filed. Adoptedon
call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor
Cherry (5).
Accept bi3 / Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that an ordinance entitled: "AN

Thouas ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF GEORGE R. THOMAS TRUCK AND TRACTOR COMPANY FOR THE
T c. T Co.
Flusi:er SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE FLUSHER TANK AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE SAME", be introduced and remain on file for public
inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form in which it shall be
put upon its .final passage. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs and Mayor Cherry (4), Commissioner Riggs "No".
