At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.AI. on September 20, 1955,
Mayor Cherry presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Fannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5).
Mayor Cherry offered motion that the Notice of Called Meeting to be held
on September 20, 1955 be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Fannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5).
RR property / Commissioner Fannin offered motion that the letter from W. E. Davis,

way letter Superintendent, Illinois Central Railroad, relative to proposed public roadiray across
w.E.Davis
Illinois Central property in vicinity of 11th Street between Broadway and Kentucky
Avenue, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5).
ContractCommissioner Fannin offered motion that the Contract between the City of
Brandeis
file Paducah and Brandies Machinery and Supply Corporation dated September 6, 1955, be
received and .filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fannin, Hughes
Jacobs, Riggs and _dayor Cherry (5).

Request bids/ Commissioner Hughes offered motion that a Resolution entitled: "A

PURCHASE BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE (1) FLUSHER TANK AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT, AND
PRESCRIBING THE TERI•IS AND CONDITIONS TO BE COMPLIED WITH BY BIDDERS", be adopted.
