Cow.issioner Hughes offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive,
file and approve liability policy binder issued by the Ilew Amsterdam Casualty Cor;pany
protecting the city with respect to work done by George Z. wurth, dated September 7,
1955; also bond of the said George E. Wurth in the amount o," ;1,000 and dated
September 7, 1955. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Corx;issioners flannin, Ifughe
Jacobs, Riggs and Liayor Cherry (5).
Commissioner Hughes offered motion that the letter from Ralph W. Osborne,
Superintendent of Public Schools, to the Iayor and Board of Cormaissioners dated
September 13, 1955, enclosing the motion of the Board of Education for a deed to be
executed to the City of Paducah for a 40 foot strip of land to extend i;ississippi
Street from 28th Street to 29th Street as soon as the City Engineer can do further
survey work for the purpose of obtaining a suitable description of the right-of-way,
be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin,
Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and i-iayor Cherry (5). j
Commissioner Jacobs offered the folloirin motion: Since it appears from a

C. R. Turner has been approved, I move that the City Clerk be directed to return
Policy llo. 1046-763 issued by the Celina iiutual insurance Company to the said C. R.
