HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Book 23, Page 173, June 21, 1955No..- Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah Jure 21, 1955 At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber !'i of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.I•I. on June 21, 1955, Mayor Cherry pre- sided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissionrs Hannin, Hughes, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (4), Commissioner Jacobs was absent when the I meeting was called to order. Mayor Cherry offered motion that copies of Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 7:30 P.ii. on June 21, 1955, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Riggs and A9ayor Cherry (4). Grave in Commissioner Hannin offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the Rushing Add to E.T.Freeman,Sr sale by the City of Paducah to E. T. Freeman, Sr. (Administrator) of Grave No. 75 Admr. in Block No. 8 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City CIrk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave. Adopted on I call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (4). Bond of P.L. / Commissioner Hannin offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive, filet Lindley v and approve bond of P. L. Lindley in the amount of $1000.00 dated June 1st, 1955. Jacobs claim Commissioner offered motion that the claim of W.T.Thompson against the of W.T.Thompson C City in the sum of :'83.80 for damages done to his automobile by refuse truck on or about I -:ay 13, 1955 be settled at an agreed sum of $41.90 and that the City Treasurer be and he is hereby directed to issue a check to said W.T.Thompson for said amount after securin„ a full and complete release.
