At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Connisoion
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 5:00 P.211. on I•lay 26, 1955, Idayor
Cherry presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Riggs and }.ayor Cherry (y), Commissioner Jacobs beim
absent (1).
Commissioner Hannin offered motion that the Deed of Dedication from
Robert C. Cherry and 'rife, Lynn 12. Cherry, to City of Paducah, dedicating an extaision
of 12th Street, 60 feet in width, across the property of Robert C. Cherry, 'rest of
Louise Street, as recommended by the Paducah Planning and ZoninZ Comn9.ssion, be receiv
and accepted, and that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed
to have said deed recorded in the office of the McCracken County Court Clerk. Adopted
on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Ri•;gs and Nayor Cherry (4).
Commissioner Hughes offered motion that the offer of VI. G. Pelton to pay
the sum of w4,250.00 for the property owned by the City located at 524 North 4th Street[
be accepted, and that the Corporation Counsel be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to prepare the necessary ordinance and deed upon the deposit of said sum of
V4,250-00 with the City Treasurer. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Co?rmissionc:•�;

Commissioner Riggs offered motion that the telegram from the Attorney
General's office regardin_- the levy of the poll ta:c requosted by the Board of
Education of the City of Paducah, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the toA,
Yeas, Cormnissioners Hannin, Hushes, Riggs and ',•`a•�or Cher z (I ).
