Edwards against the B.J.Edwards City in the sum of $47.00 for damages caused to his automobile by a truck owned by the City, at 9th and Jefferson Streets, on April 8, 1955, be allowed and that the City Treasurer be and he is hereby authorized to issue a check to B. Grave in Commissioner Hughes offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the Rushing A Myrtle sale by the City of Paducah to Myrtle Robertson of Grave No. 71 in Block No. 8 of the Robertson Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execut a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave. Street Light/' Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the City Manager have an investigation Monroe btw �/ 19th & 21st made to determine the need for a street light on Monroe Street between 19th and 21st - Streets. He further moved that if same is needed that he instruct the Kentucky Utilities I Company to make such installation. Liability Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive,file policy & bond Cooperts and approve bond of Elvin Cooper d/b/a Cooper's Plumbing Company in the amount of $1000 Plumbing Co dated May 12, 1955, also endorsement to form a part of policy No. 53-154681 issued by Maryland Casualty Company to Cooperts Plumbing Company for a period of one year fxan :arch 27, 1955• Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5). Letter from Commissioner Riggs offered motion that the letter from Ralph 'N. Osborne, Achool Bd � Poll Tax Superintendent, Paducah Public Schools, dated April 20, 1955, relative to the $2.00 Poll tax requested by the School Board, be received and filed. Transfer I Commissioner Riggs offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the Cemetery lot Oak Grove transfer from Susan Porter Sleeth Williamson and her husband, Benjamin H. Williamson to George Jacobs to George Jacobs of a portion 12 feet by 20 feet off of the southwest corner of the J. B. Sleeth lot in Oak Grove Cemetery, being Lot No. 399 in Section No. 27. He further moved that the City Clerk be directed to make the proper transfer on the Cemetery Register.
