At a Regular 1•ieetiry3 of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.id. on ?March 22, 1955, I•iayor
Cherry presided and upon call of the Roll the follorrIng :u,snered to their names:
Commissioners Hannin, Jacobs, Rigs and ayor Cherry (4). Commissioner Hughes being
absent (1).
Mayor Cherry offered motion that the reading of the i•iinutos for Karch 15, 1955
be .:aived and that the ,Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clark be approved
as ;mitten. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Jacobs, Riggs

and :a;*or Cherry (4).
Commissioner Hannin offered the following motion: I move that the petition
si;;ned by 1•x. and irs. J. S. Iiusgrove requesting that the city thoroughly and con-
scientiously study and correct the drainage problem in Cornell Place, be received,
filed and referred to the City I�anager for investigation.
I further move that the City Nanager report back to this Board as soon as
possible. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners 11annin, Jacobs, Riggs
and layer Cherry (4).
/ Commissioner Hannin offered motion that the check in the amount of V7.20 from
the Paducah :'later Uorks which represents bad refuse accounts collected during January
and February 1955 be turned over to the City Treasurer to be deposited to the General
Fund. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Jacobs, Riggs and
Layer Cherry (4).
/ Commissioner Hannin offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the
sale by the City of Paducah to Ualter Cannon of Grave No. 69 in Block !To. 8 of the
Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to
execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave. Adopted on call of tiro Roll,
Yeas, Commissioners Ilannin, Jacobs, Riggs and I;ayor Cherry (4).
Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the

Rushin Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clark be authorized to
execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave. Adopted on call of the Roti,
