Mayor Cherry offered motion that the readin, of the Minutes for January If, 1955 be waived and that the -Kinutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannan, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and I.:ayor Cherry (5). Commissioner Ilannin offered motion that the claim of Elizabeth Kelley against the City of Paducah in the sum of X200.00 far damages to her property by reason of dynamite blasting by the City be allowed, and that the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby, directed to issue a check of the City to the said Elizabeth Kelley and her Attorney, Chas. 11. Runyun, after obtaining a full and complete release. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5 . Commissioner Hannin offered motion that the following bids submitted for furnish- ing; the City of Paducah its petroleum product requirements for the period from January 1, 1955 through June 30, 1955, be received and filed: Laid -Continent Petroleum Corporation Standard Oil Company Schaeffer I',fg. Commissioner Hughes offered motion that the communication and statement from the Carnegie Library be received andfiled. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5). Commissioner Hughes offered motion that the attached deed from James Rose Smith, et al, conveying a sewer easement on property at Sixth and Caldwell Streets to the City of Paducah, be received, recorded and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Conanissioners Hannin, Hughes, Jacobs, Riggs and Mayor Cherry (5).
