Proceedings or Foard of Commissioners City of Paducah Juno 13, 1950
At a Regular mecting of the uoard of Commissioners hold in the Commission Chamber
j, at the City Hall, Paducah, 'b ntucky, at 7:30 P.'.. on June 13, 1950, Mayor Pro Tem Hannin
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Jacobs, Sims, 'Thomas and Mayor Pro Tam Hannin (4). L"ayor Johnston being absent.
Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.
Liability Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive, file an
policy
Roo ( approve the liability policy issued by the MAryland Casualty Company protecting the City

St. Light, Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the City Manager be directed to have an inve

and if such investigation discloses the need for a street light that he be directed to

St. Light Commissioner Thomas offered motion that the recommendations of the Chief of I-olice
Sowellu
Tully Sts and the City Manager relative to the installation of a street light at the inter--------

to request the Kentucky Utilities Company to insrall a light at this location. Adopted al

Salary Commissioner Sims offered motion that the letter of Lir. Henry Collins, the City

and filed, and that the Attorney for the city be authorized to prepare an amendment of
the ordinance under which salaries are fixed, said ordinance to provide for the payment cll
a salary of 155.00 per month to the said Mrs. Norma Gatewood as of June 1, 1950.
