I. on t:overiber 11, 1952, Ilayor Cherry presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commrissioner• Jacobs, Johnston, :iorrow, and Kiavor Cherry (4), Commissioner Clark being absent when the meeting was called to order. _•iayor Cherry offered motion that the reading of the i•:inutes for I!overaber 4, 1952 be waived and that the i•iinutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Jacobs, Johnston, TIorrow and Mayor Cherry W - Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and file the' petition signed by employees of Claussner Hosiery Company and residents in the-vicknity. of 2nd w Tennessee Streets, requesting that a street light be installed in the 200 block on Tennessee Street, together with the report of Lt. John OTDonley • of the Paducah Police Department. Since it appears from Lr. OTDonleyts report of investigation that a street light is badly needed at this location, I further move that the City ilanager be directed to request the Kentucky Utilities Company to make such installation as soon as possible. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Jacobs, Johnston, Morrows and Nayor Cherry (4). Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive, file and approve liability policy issued by the Employers Mutual Liability Insurance Company protecting the City of Paducah with respect to work done by Edgar Stephens and Sons, In for a period of one year from November 1, 1952. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Jacobs, Johnston, tlorrow and Mayor Cherry (4). Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the transfer from S. T. Randle, Edwin 41. Randle and wife, Thelma Randle, to I•Irs. Grace Sanderson of the East portion of Lot No. 37 in Section uCn being 16 feet on Cypress Street, running back 21 feet, in Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be directed to make the proper transfer on the Cemetery Register. He further moved that said board receive and file the Affidavit of Descent signed by 3dwin W. Randle statim that S. T. Randle and Edwin :'i, Randle are the sold heirs of tlrs. S. T. Randle and that they each have an undivided interest in the cemetery lot referred to above. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Cocriissioners Jacobs, Johnston, :iorrow and Iayor Cherry (y). Co:. issioner Johnston offered motion that the letter of Iiorris A. Lee, Certified Public Accountant, in which he offers to audit the accounts of the officers of the City of Paducah for the y,:ar endini• December 31, 1952 for the sum of :,2,500.00, be received and filed.
