Petition I Commissioner Clark offered motion that the petition from residents of Christie Christie Sub- division -dust subdivision requesting action to alleviate dust conditions on Madison Street be Qreceived and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Jacobs, and tiayor Cherry (3). Water line Commissioner Clark offered motion that the petition of Freeman Clapp and Iva Clapp Husbands Rd Pe tition request ar..end- mant Civil Service Ord. A.,ter line I ?:n Shan i y Rca-i residing on the Husbands Road in McCracken County, outside the corporate limits of Paducah, Kentucky for authority to lay and construct a water line for the purpose of providing water service to the building located on the property of petitioners be received and filed and that the request in said petition be granted in accordance with the terms set forth therein. It is understood, however, in granting the privileges sought in said petition neither the City of Paducah nor the Commissioners of Water Works shall be obligated to buy said pipe line or any part thereof, and no such obligation shall be contained or be implied hereafter should the territory to be served by the water line to be laid under the authority herein requested be taken into or made a part of the City of Paducah It is further understood that the petitioners will subscribe for water service at the rates now or hereafter prescribed for water service to consumers outside the city d limits of Paducah and subject in all respects to the rules and regulations of the City .i of Paducah or its Commissioners of Water Works which may be now in force or thereinafter enacted. Nothing in the granting of this petition shall obligate the City of Paducah or its Commissioners of Water Works to guarantee pressure or service, and said water servic may be discontinued through said pipe line at any time when in the judgment of its Commissioners of hater Works the furnishing of water to the petitioners or their successors in ownership of the property owned may interfere in any wise with the adequat supply and distribution of water inside the corporate limits of the City of Paducah. All of the property adjacent to said Clay Street is presently vacant. It appears from the endorsement by the Board of Commissioners of eater Works that -he applicant has complied with all rules and regulations of the said Paducah Water Works as approved by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah. Bradley, City Engineer, report drainage Thompson & 26 dated June 21, 1952 reporting on drainage conditions in the block of ground embraced by Sts 26th and Thompson Avenue, Kruger street and Mildred street be received and filed, and tha the matter be referred to the City Manager for further investigation and recommendation or action. Agreement Commissioner Clark offered motion that this Board receive and file copy of the Gas Co. ✓1 Regulator Agreement entered into between the City of Paducah and the Western Kentucky Gas Company 25th St for the construction of a regulator above the ground on the north side of an alley between Jefferson and Monroe Streets on 25th Street.
