Trains ✓ Commissioner Clark offered motion that this Board receive and file the lett,r discontirc, 101 N RC2 from the Association of Commerce dated April 28, 1952 relative to the intention of the letter A o: C Illinois Central Railroad Company to discontinue the operation of Trains Numbers 101 and 102, effective as of May 11, 1952• He further moved that, if it is deemed necessary, that the Corporation Counsel be present at the hearing set in Frankfort on May 14• Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Johnston, Morrow and Mayor Pro Tem Jacobs (4)• Contract ✓ Commissioner Clark offered motion that the Agreement entered into between Curtis Wilkerson the City of Paducah and Curtis Wilkerson for sale to the City of Limestone during Limestone the year 1952, be received and filed. Liability% Corrrniaaioner Clark offered motion that the Certificate of Insurance issued Pclicy t/ E.C.Reed by the Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York, protecting the City of Paducah for work done by E. C. Reed for a period of one year from May 6, 1952, be received, filed and approved. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Johnston, Morrow and Mayor Pro Tem Jacobs (4). Sinking Commissioner Clark offered motion that the letter of Oscar Talmage, City Funj ✓1 surplusTreasurer, dated April 22, 1952, showing a Sinking Fund Cash balance as of December invest letter 31, 1951 of ;390,447.97, and recommending said surplus be used to purchase Series F Treasurer U. S. Treasury bonds, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, / Commissioners Clark, Johnston, Morrow and Mayor Pro Tem Jacobs (4). Shoup a copy of the Resolution adopted by the City Planning and 'Zoning Commission on April 14, 1952, be received and filed.
