At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 10:00 A.M. on April 12, 1952,
Mayor Cherry presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their

names: Commissioners Clark, Morrow and Mayor Cherry (3), Commissioners Jacobs
and Johnston being absent (2).

Commissioner Morrow offered motion that an ordinance entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE PROJECT APPLICATION ACCEPTING THE GRANT
OFFER FRO14 THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ACTING BY AND THROUGH THE CIVIL AERONAUTICS
ADI-11NISTRATOR TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND McCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $82,500 FOR THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF BARKLEY FIELD AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF THE GRANT AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY", be adopted.
