Clark, Jacobs, Johnston, Eorrow and Payor Cherry '(5). _....._oner Clark offered motion that the petition of Galon Jones and wife, Jcce .--idi.n.- on Rutter Street .for authority to connect, a 3/4 Inch water pipe co t:.e priv.tely owned pipe line of Schneidman Road Water Line Number 2 for the ;pose of providing water service for domestic purposes to the property of said petitioners, be received and filed and that the request in said petition be granted; _n accordance with the terms set forth therein. It is understood, however, in granting the privileges sonRht in said petition neither the City of Paducah nor the Commissioners of Water Works .shall be obligated to buy said pipe line or any part thereof, and no such obligation shall be contained or implied hereafter should the territory to be served by the water line to be laid under the authority herein requested be taken into or made a part of the City of Paducah. It is further understood that the petitioners will subscribe for water service at the rates now or hereafter prescribed for water service to consumers outside the city limits of Paducah and subject in all respects to the rules and regulations of the City of Paducah or its Commissioners of 'dater Works which may now be in force or hereinafter enacted. Nothing in the granting of this petition shall obligate the City of Paducah or its Commissioners of Plater Works to guarantee pressure or service and said water ser- vice may be discontinued through said pipe line at any time when in the judgment of its CommissionerF of Water Works the furnishing of water to the petitioners or 'rzir: ownership of the property owned may interfere in any wise with the adequate curriv end distribution of water inside the corporate limits of the City of Paducah. Water Compan`/ Commissioner Clark offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and Audit year ✓ ending file the Audit Report of the Paducah Water Works for the fiscal year ended October Oct 31, 1951 31, 1951. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Jacobs, Johnston, Morrow and Mayor Cherry (5). Liability Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive, file Policy Roger F. and approve liability policy issued by the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company Christie protecting the City with respect to work done by Roger F. Christie for a period of one year from •lebruary 23, 1952. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Jacobs, Johnston, Morrow and Mayor Cherry (5). Supplemental Commissioner Johnston offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and Contract 1-1 Lone Oak file the executed supplemental contract between the City of Paducah and the Lone Oak Water Distric Water District. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Jacobs, Johnston, Morrow and Yayor Cherry (5). Liability Commissioner Johnston offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive, file policies Ace Plumbing nd approve Certificates of Insurance issued by the Connecticut Indemnity Company Repair (l:orrow Zc protecting the city of Paducah with respect to work done by the following: Hotchkiss) R.C.Jennirgs R.C-Kcrrow & Steven Hotchkiss d/b/a Ace Plumbing Repair, effective for a period of one year from 14arch 1, 1952. R. C. Jennings, effective for a period of one year from January 19, 1952. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Jacobs, Johnston, Morrow and Mayor Cherry (5). Street Dept Mayor Cherry offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and file ti:e reque, 25 per month letter from Van Johnston, Secretary, Paducah City 3mployees Local Union No. 1116, salary increase requesting that the City Street Department be given a wage increase of $25.00 per month. Adopted on call of the loll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Jacobs, Johnston, Morrow and Mayor Cherry (5).
