Board of Commissioners City of Paducah December 26, 1951
At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on December 26, 1951, Mayor Pro Tem
Hannin presided in the absence of Kayor Johnston and upon call of the Roll the .following
answered to their names: Commissioners Sims, Thomas and Mayor Pro Tem Hannin (3).
Commissioner Jacobs was absent when the meeting was called to order.
Minutes of the previous meeting.were adopted as read.
File Treasurer' 3z Commissioner Sims offered motion that the Deed of Conveyance from Victor Maxine
Deed to Tagnon
Lot on No 8th Sp Tagnon, at al and Oscar K. Talmage, as Treasurer of the "ity of Paducah, to the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, to Lot No. 36 in Block 6 in Terrell's Woodlawn Subdivision, said
lot being situated on the southwest corner of the intersection of 8th and Olive Streets,
be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Sims, Thomas and Mayor Pro
Ten Hannin (3).
Rushing Add. Commissioner Thomas offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the
Cemetery Grave
to Guy sale by the City of Paducah to Guy Griffith of Grave No. 136 in Block No. 7 of the
Griffith
Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute
a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Sims, Thomas and Mayor Pro Tem Hannin (3).
Rhodes -Broady Commissioner Thomas offered motion that the Financial Report of Rhodes -Broady

Holiday New Commissioner Thomas offered motion that all city employees, with the exception of
Year's Day
the Police and Fire Department personnel, be granted a holiday on New Year's Day, January

Liability Commissioner Thomas offered motion that the Board of Commissioners, reveice, file

Vandevelde & and approve Certificate of Insurance issued by the Fidelity and 'asualty Company of
Augustus
New York, protecting the City of Paducah with respect to work done by Charles Vandevelde
d/b/a Vandevelde & Augustus for a period of one year from January 1, 1952. Adopted on
call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Sims, Thomas and Mayor Pro Tem Hannin (3).

Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and f
a motion adopted by the City Planning and Zoning Commission on December 21 with reference
the proposed annexation of Conrad Heights Subdivision and U. S. Highway 60 between the cit
limits and said Subdivision. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Jacobs
