Petition / Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and Cil Ashbrook' file the petition of Nlr. and Mrs. Miller E. Smith, in which it is requested that Ashbrook Avenue be oiled. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Jacobs, Sims, Thomas and Mayor Pro Ten Hannin (4). Petition V Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and fil Oil Ashcraft' etc i the petition of Charles W. Hill and others requesting that Ashcraft Avenue, Bridge to Powell Street, and Thurman Street be oiled. Heitt and others do 21st St. repaired & requesting that North 21st street between Monroe Street and Park Avenue be repaired and Oiled oiled be received and filed. Duncan a nd wife, Meachan lane'; 2elma M. Duncan, residing on Meacham Lane in McCracken County, Kentudky, outside the f corporate limits of Paducah, Kentucky, for authority to lay and construct a water line Ifor the purpose of providing water service to the building located on the property of petitioners be received and filed and that the request in said petition be granted in i accordance with the terms set forth therein. It is understood, however, in granting theprivilege sought in said petition neither the City of Paducah nor the Commissioners of Water Works shall be obligated to buy said pipe line or any part thereof, and no such obligation shall be contained or be implied i hereafter should the territory to be served by the water line to be laid under the authori herein requested be taken into or made a part of the City of Paducah. He further moved that the City Manager be directed to have a street light installed at the above location if upon investigation it is found that said light is needed. Reeves for permission No 36th to make two 3/4 inch connections to the 14 inch privately owned water pipe line of R. M. Bell to his property located on the wes t side of North 36th Street between Pines Road and Minnich Avenue, outside the city limits of Paducah, Kentucky, be received and filed and the requests petitioned for therein be granted subject to the terms and conditions con- tained in said petition.
