petitioner or her successors in ownership of the property now owned by her may interfere
in any wise with the adequate supply and distribution of water inside th- corporate

Commissioner Jacobs offered motion that the petition of George C. Troutman and wife,
Kathleen Troutman, residing on Husband Road outside the corporate limits of Paducah,
Kentucky for authority to lay and construct a water line for the purpose of providin'
water service to the buildings located on the property be received and filed and that th-
request in said petition be granted in accordance with the terms set forth therein.
It is understood, however, in granting the privilege sought in said petition neither the
City of Paducah, nor the Commissioners of 'dater Works shall be obligated to buy said pip::
line or any part thereof, and no such obligation shall be contained or be implied 'here-
after should the territory to be served by the water line to be laid under the authoritvi

It is further understood that the petitioners will subscribe for water service , the

Commissioner Sims offered motion that the petition of T.E.Bell for permission and
authority to replace the 3/4 inch water pipe line owned by him with a one inch copper pip
lire from a point near the intersection of 'Jilson Avenue with N 36th Street; thence along
and under 'rlilson Avenue for a distance of approximately 165 feet; thence along and under
the alley between N 36th Street and E. 37th Street a distance of approximately 175 feet
and to further change the existing meters supplying, Lots 10 in Block C and Lots 29, 30, 3
33 and 34 in the Country Club Addition to the City of Paducah from the 3/4 inEh water pip
lin:to the proposed one inch copper pipe line and for permission and authority to connec
a 3/4 inch :rater line to the one inch copper line petitioned for, be received and filed
and that the requests in said petition be granted in accordance with the terms set forth
p therein.

McCracken County Recreation :.ssociation, expressing the association Is appreciation for
the appoopriation which the city made to it be received and filed. Adopted on call o[

.:ayor Johnstoh offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive and file th
furl .allots cast for the election of a member of the Board of Trustees of the Appointive
'mployees Pension Fund to serve during the remainder of the unexpired term of Birdie
`;herrill whose employment by the City of Paducah has terminated and he is no longer
eligible to serve as a member of said board.
It appearinZ from the ballots which have been cast, being 51 in number, that the
appointive employees of the city who voted, being a majority of the total number of such
employees, were in favor of the election of Clay King.
I further move that the Board of Commissioners declare Clay King as the duly
^l.ected member of the Board of Truatees of the Appointive Employees Pension Fund so that
:-,aid Board as now constituted shall be composed of the following members:
Stuart Johnston, Payor and Chairman
C. R. Moffitt, City Manager,'and
Mayme Stewart, Ton Bradley and Clay King
whose term expires the first Monday
in January, 1952•
