Nothing in the granting of this petition shall be construed as any obligation on the City of Paducah to buy said privately owned pipe line or any part thereof, and no :uarantee shall be implied as to pressure or water service, and the Commissioners of 7,ater '.vorks may, if in their opinion the furnoshing of water interferes with the adequate furnishin- of water to persons residing within the city limits or now receiving water service from the City or Paducah, cease furnishing water through said pipe line. It is further understood and agreed that the petitioner shall pay the rates now or hereafter prescribed for water service to persons residing outside the city limits and no obli„ation shall be entailed by the city or Commissioners of 7,later ."forks to main- tain or keep in repair the privately owned pipe line or any part thereof.
