Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read. Commissioner l.'illiams offered motion that the petition of Fairy A. Reed ! residing on Ward Street near raks Road outside the corporate limits of Paducah, Kentuc1ky, for authority to lay and construct a water line for the purpose of providing water service to the building located on the property of petitioner be received and filed and that the request in said petition be granted in accordance with the terms set Nforth therein. l It is understood, however, in Granting the privilege souPht in said petition neither the City of Paducah nor the Commissioners of Tlater :.orks shall be oLllgatod to buy said pipe line or any part thereof, and no such otligation shall be contained or b implied hereafter should the territory to be served by the waterline to be laid under i the authority herein requested be toren into or made a part of the City of Paducah. i It is further understood that the petitioner rill subscribe for water service at the rates now or hereafter proscribed for water service to consumers outside the city limits and subject in all respects to the rules and regulations of the City of Paducah or its Commissioners of Plater Vlorks which may be now in force or hereinafter enacted. I Campbell ✓ Commissioner Johnston offered motion that the City of Paducah pay the bill ^linic- James Clay of Campbell Clinic in the sum of x11.00 for X-rays and office visit of James Clay, a " 11.00 police officer who was injured in a motorcycle accident while engaged in the per- formance of his duties, and that the amount so paid be charged to Account #3164 Police '•edical Exrense. Lia- Commissioner Friedlander offered motion that the Board of Commissioners Unity inn./ Policy receive, soprove and file the public liability insurance policy issued by the C. Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York to the City of laducah covering constructio j or erection work done by E. C. Reed effective for a period of one year from Giay 6th, I 1947, to,^eater with the bond of the said S. C. Reed executed by The Fidelity and i Canualty Corpany of idew York as surety in the amount of :,,1000.00, dated Way 7th, l"x47, which bond and insurance policy have been executed and isaied as required under I the ;:revisions of an ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners on September 24, 194,.
