At a=�cgular Meeting of the board of Commissioners hold in the 0orunissionerst i Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 8:00 o'clock P.i,i. on Juno 5th, 1945, i.syor Seaton presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their nameai Commissioners Johnston, t=a*Rs, Pulliam, 1,7agner and Mayor Seaton (4). Commissioner i Pierce being absent. "inutes of the previous meeting wero adopted as road. 'eater extension Commissioner Johnston offered motion that the petition of I-'lilliam T. Pitt and "a?le Street V. Ruby Smith Burnley Pitt approved by Joseph Terrell, Tommie Cornwell, Levy 'Panner, Louis Schmidt, Jr., and V:. D. Holley, be received and filed, and that the request in said petition be rrantod. Provided, however, that nothing in the granting of the request made in said petition shall obligate the City of Paducah or its Commissioners of Vlater 17orka to provide service or pressure or to maintain said pipeline or any part thereof lying outside the city limits and in no wise shall the granting of this petition be construed as an obligation now and hereafter on the part of the City of Paducah or its Commissioners of '.later Works to purchase said privately owned pipeline, and no such obliCation shall be created in the event the territory served by said privately owned pipeline or any part thereof shall be taken into the corporate limits of the City of Paducah. Payroll v Commissioner '^agner offered motion that the payroll for the last held of Iday, last half of 1945 1965 be allowed in the amount of 14111,373.21, and that the City Treasurer be authorized to pay the some by checks drawn on the General bund.
