P.M. on May 22nd, 1945, "ayor Seaton presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Johnston, Pierce, Pulliam, Wggner and Mayor Ocaton (5). 14inute3 of the previous meeting were adopted as read. Shell Oil i Corrlissioner Fulliam offered motion that the Agreement entered into between the Contract file li Shell 011 Company and the City of Paducah, for furnishing the city its requirement of gasoline and oil for the four (4) months period beginning May 1st, 1945, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Pierce, Pulliam,' : l'Jagner and cayor Seaton (5). Holiday �'!, Connissioner l,'agner offered notion that Decoration Day, llay 30th, 1945, being 4 -!ay 00th a legal holiday, I move that all city employees be allowed a holiday with the exception i of the police and fire department personnel. Payroll ✓!/ Commissioner Wagner offered motion that the payroll for the first half of tay,� first hale hay, 1945 1945 be allowed in the amount of ;11,342.19 and that the City +reasurer be authorized to pay the some by checks drawn on the General Fund.
