Chamber at the City Hall, Faducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on January 2, 1945,
Mayor Seaton presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Johnston, Pierce, Pulliam, l'lagner and Mayor Seaton (5).
Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read. i

1944 !'.star Works for the month of November, 1944, be received and filed. Adopted on call of
the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Pierce, Pulliam, Wagner and Mayor Seaton (5).
Fayroll last -t. Commissioner 'Magner offered motion that the payroll for the lost half of Decembel,
half Dec. 144
1944 be allowed in the amount of 510,686.G6, and that the City Treasurer be authorized
to pay the same be checks drawn on the General Fund. Adopted on call of the Roll,
Yess, Commissioners Johnston, Pierce, Pulliam, Wagner and 14ayor Seaton (5).
Sell lot to Commissioner Pierce offered motion that the Corporation Counsel prepabe for

Jr i introduction at the next meeting an ordinance authorizing the sale to W.B.Kennedy, Jr.,
Of Lot #9 on the North side of Jefferson Street between 29th u 30th Streets for the air,
of ;;350.00 cash. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Pierce,
Pulliam, Gagner and Mayor Seaton (5).
National Cast Commissioner Johnston offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the

-etition for filing of the petition for rehearing in the case of national Cast Iron Pipe Company
Rehearing
against the City of Paducah in which the Court of Appeals held that the City of Paducah
is legally liable for payment of that part of the assessment for sewer improvements
which exceeds the value of the property on which the assessment was levied. Adopted
