HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002-7-6551337 ORDINANCE NO. 2002-7- 40,55 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION OF PROPERTY OF CITY OF PADUCAH AND CROUNSE CORPORATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN CLARK STREET AND KENTUCKY AVENUE AND BETWEEN SOUTH 2ND STREET AND SOUTH WATER STREET, i ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY AND PUBLIC EASEMENTS WHEREAS, the Paducah Planning Commission, at a meeting held on June 17, 2002, adopted as a preliminary report a plat of the proposed subdivision of property of the City of Paducah and Crounse Corporation for property located between Clark Street and Kentucky Avenue and between South 2nd Street and South Water Street, and by Resolution dated July 1, 2002, recommended to the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, the adoption of an ordinance approving the final plat of said subdivision reflected thereon, and accepting the dedication of right-of-way and public easements shown thereon. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on July 1, 2002, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION OF PROPERTY OF CITY OF PADUCAH AND CROUNSE CORPORATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN CLARK STREET AND KENTUCKY AVENUE AND BETWEEN SOUTH 2ND STREET AND SOUTH WATER STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters set forth therein. SECTION 2. That the subdivision of said property shall be, and it is hereby, approved as shown on the plat referred to in said subdivision, which plat is entitled, "Subdivision and Right of Way Dedication, Blocks 8 and 12, City of Paducah, Kentucky", and said property is hereby declared to be subdivided as shown on said plat. SECTION 3. That the dedication of the public right-of-way and public utility easements shown on said plat shall be, and they are hereby, accepted. The Mayor is hereby authorized to subscribe a certificate of approval on the plat. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication according to KRS Chapter 424. ayor ATTEST: Tammara S. Brock, Asst.
