';ayor Seaton stated t%c maetlnP, was called .for the purpoao of considering the request of the Chess &• Ciymond Company of iouisville, Kentucky that the 1937 c<ty taxes against the property of the Hollis Johnson Company bo remitted, and that �ha city oxempt all of the manufacturing property of said company from the naymeht of taxes for a period of five (5) ;/ears, such remission and exemption of 9 tr.xes to oe `.ranted as an inducement to said Company to take over and operate ;ho nron3rty of the Hollis Johnsnn Company. ;ta;or Seaton offered motion that the copies of the "notices of opeclal or _.c3 Called 9eetinr" which were delivered to members of the /oard of Commissioners regarding called meeting to be hold on r'obruory 4th, 1944, be received and filed.
