Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah January 3rd, 1044
At a Called M.ceting of the board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners'
Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 10:30 o'clock A.M. on January 3rd,
1943, Mayor Seaton presided and upon call of the Holl the following answered to their

�i names: Commissioners Johnston, Pierce Pulliam and Mayor Seaton (4), Commissioner
;;agner absent.
Mayor Seaton stated the meeting was called for the purpose of electing
a ?Mayor Pro 'rem, and to transact any other business tY,at may come properly before
the meeting.

N C. Seaton, which was read by Mr. .Henry Ward, be received and filed. Adopted on call

Mayor Protem a
lMayor Pro Tom for the City of Paducah for the years 1044 and 1945, and as such to bo
bested with all the powers and perform all the duties of the Mayor during his absence
!1 fnom the city or his inability to attend to the duties of the office. Adopted on

present but not voting.

J Wayne C. Seaton to the office of Mayor of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the
I Certificate of Election of Rudy Pierce, Stuart Johnston, Harold 'Jagner and S.E.
Pulliam to the office of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be received
and filed. Adopted one all of the Roll, teas, Commissioners Johnston, Pierce,
li Pulliam, and payor Seaton (4).
