Minutes of the previous meeting here adopted as read. St. Dept. Commissioner Johnston offered motion that the report of the Street Report for March, 1943 Department for the month of March 1943, be received. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam, 13agner and Mayor Lackey (5). Sell lot to Commissioner Pulliam offered motion that the Corporation Counsel be D.B.71orshum directed to prepare for introduction at the next regular meeting, an ordinance authorizing the sale and conveyance to D. B. Woeshum of Lots Nos 4 and 5 on Koerner Street for the sum of 9^75.00 cash. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam, Wagner and Mayor Lackey (5). Sell lot to Commissioner Wagner offered motion that the Corporation Counsel be Booney Small - man dd authorized to prepare for introduction at the next regular meeting an ordinance authorizing the sale and conveyance to Booney Smallman of a lot located on 4th Street between Husbands and George Streets for the sum of x100.00 cash, said lot being II50' x 1731. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Dorian, Johnston p. Pulliam, I'lagner and Mayor Lackey (5). Deed to �i Commissioner Dorian offered the following motion: I move that an ordinance Curtis Suggs 1; entitled: "AN OItDINA,.CE AUTHORIZING THE SALE AIM CONVEYANCE TO CURTIS SUGGS OF I'. LOTS NOS. 3 and 4 IN BLOCK 3 OF VAUGHN'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, K'r]NT9Ch-Y; PRESCRIBING THE TERMS UNDER WhICH SAID PROPERTY SHALL BE CONVEYED; AND AUTIORIZING THE MAYOT AND CITY CLERK 70 EXECUTE AND DELIVER A DEED OF CONVEYANCE TO THE PURCHASER", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll Yeas, Commissioners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam, Wagner and Mayor Lackey (5). letter of Mrs. Mayor Lackey offered motion that the letter of Mrs. Katherine Langstaff, Secretrry Katherine Lan:'staf'f of the '!eCracken County Social I'lorkars Club, addressed to Mr. Harry G.McElwee, City to use Comn- izsloneraManager, dated April 24th, 1943, be received and filed, and that said organization rha.nt,!r Le ;ranted the use of the Commissioners' Chamber Monday nicht, May 3rd, 1943. F 9 Proceedings of Eoard of Commissioners Cloy of Paducah April 37th, 1943 _ layor Lackey offered motion that the City t:anagor be requested to Vuiiain, Co plate communicate with the officials of the Creator Paducah Association for the purpose of finding out if the Association is willing to undertake the work of completing the i IHA Building on South 3rd Street for use as a training center, and if said Asoociatlo�j is unwilling to sponsor the project, that an ordinance be introdueod at the next II meeting of this board, authorizing the City Manager to expend out of the Contingent � Fund a sum not exceeding x3000.00 for the compoletion of said building, and providing the manner in which the work will be contracted for and materials bought in connectioq with the construction of said building.
