Co_minaianers' Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 11:00 o'clock A.M.
January .ltd, 1943, b'.ayor Lackey presided and upon call of the Roll, tlic following
answered to their names: Commissioners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam l9aGner and
I:ayor Lackey (5).
t.'ayor Lackey stated that the meeting was called for the purpose of
appointing the Board of Equalizers.
buyer Lackey offered the following motion: I move that A. E. (Jack) Cole,
Charles Vandevelde and George Block be appointed as members of the Board of
Equalizers of the City of Paducah for the year 1943, and that the members of said
Board after being first duly sworn to faithfully discharge their duties, be
directed to meet at the City ]call on the first Monday in January, 1943, and to proceed
with the equalizing of assessments on real and personal property in accordance with
the provisions of law, and the members of said Board shall receive for their services
the compensation as fixed by the ordinance. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
rorriissioners Dorian, Johnston, Pulliam, Wagner and Mayor Lackey (5).
1 Commissioner 17agner offered motion that the payroll for the last half of

authorized to pay the same by checks drawn on the General Fund. Adopted on call
