HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Book 20, Page 504, December 23, 1941N0_5n4 Board of Commissioners Cit Paducah December 23, 1941 Proceedings of 9 o f At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the Commissioners Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on the 23rd Bay of December, 1941, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (5). Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as road. J Tax exonerat- Commissioner Pulliam offered the following motion: Ions for 1941 I move that exonerations Nos. 7372-7487 inclusive, be received and filed; and that the amount of $725.72 be exonerated on the tax bills as shown on said exonerations: Classified as follows: Barred by Statutes of Limitations $ 425.74 Double Assessment 9.30 Erroneous Assessment 1.50 Deceased 23.00 Cut of Business 14.70 Tax Sales 9.94 Flood Loss 4.48 Unknown, cannot locate or non-resident 218.76 Miscellaneous 18.30 Total u— These have been checked, and are due to be exonerated according to my knowledge and belief. Referral Mayor Lackey offered motion that the City Manager's attention be Agent's sol- a.y increased called to the motion passed by the Board on July 29th, 1941, increasing the pay to the 41PA Referral Agency $90.00 per month from August 1st to November 30th, inclusive, and that the pay for December shall be $90.00, less $25.00 or $65.00 in addition to that provided for in the original ordinance. Mayor Lackey offered motion that the Corporation Counsel be directed to prepare Liquor License- Corp. Counsel to prepare ,for introduction at the next regular meetingof the Board of Commissioners an ordinance ordinance reducing fee. „ for the purpose of reducing the annual license for sale of wholesale liquor to x500.00.
