HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Book 20, Page 459, August 19, 1941No 459 Proceedings of Board of Commisaioners Clay of Paducah August 10, 1941 At a regular meeting of the Board of Comnlssioncra held in the Commissioners Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on the 19th day of August, 1941, Commissioner Pulliam proniddd as Mayor pro tem and ,upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Baker, - Blackburn, Dorian and 1fayor pro tem Pulliam (4) Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read. Commissioner Baker offered motion that the payroll for Fayroll-first: Aug. the first half of August, 1941 be allowed in the amount of 010,577.26, and that the City Treasurer be authorized to pay same by check drawn on the General Fund. „Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commisnioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian and Mayor pro 4tem Pulliam (4). P Paducah '.:ater Works � I Commissioner Blackburn offered the following motion: requested to furnish water to Lincoln Hts. M7kEREAS, some twenty-five (25) families residing on the south side of the city in Lincoln Heights are entirely without water facilities and are being taxed on their property without any return in benefits, I therefore move that the Paducah Water 1'iorks Abe requested to provide them with at least a two (2) inch water main properly located so as to be accessible to all the residents in that vicinity.
