I Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read. I Street Dept.,June repl� Commissioner Baker offered motion that the report of 1.7. F. Anderson, Street Superintendent, for the month of June, 1941, be received. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian and Mayor pro tem Pulliam (4). Mayor pro tem Pulliam offered motion that an ordinance entitled: Ordinance zoning Ky. All ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FILIAL REPORT OF THE CITY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMIZZION Ave., from 7.74.11ne of loth to a point 1651 PROVIDING FOR THE ZOilINO OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ON DOTH SIDES OF KENTUCKY AVENUE FROM, T[fE 17. of lire of 17th ":EST LINE OF 16TH STREET TO A POINT 165 FEET VIEOT OF THE •f1EST LINE OF 17711 STREET AS A RESIDENTIAL AILD BUSINESS DISTRICT, AND PREESCRIBING THE PENALTY TO BE IMPOSED FOR VIOLATION OF THE RESTRICTIONS SET FORTH IN A RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE CITY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION ON JULY 21ST, 1941", be adopted. Fred S6organrs resienat Mayor pro tem Pulliam offered motion that the letter of Fred ion from Fire Dept., ?,1orFnn dated July 17th, 1941 be received, filed and spread upon the minutes, and that accepted the resignation of the said Fred S3organ from his position as a member of the Fire NDepartment of the City of Paducah be accepted, the same to be effective as of July i 17th, 1941: "Paducah, Kentucky July 17th, 1941 Mr. James P. Smith City Manager City of Paducah "Dear Lir. Smith: :affective as of this data, I hereby resign from my poaitlon 9 as a member of the Fire Department of the City of Paducah.
