At a rofplar meeting of' the Board of Commissioners held in the
Cormissioners Chamber at the Cary Holl, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.18., on the
25th day.of February, 1941, Mayor 'ackoy presided and upon call of the roll the
Ifollowln,- answered to their names: Com:nissione.ra Baker, Blackburn, Dorian,
Pulliam and Mayor "ackey (5).
Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read.

Commissioner Pulliam offered the folloti•,int; motion:
L. L ::olnon recorniz- That "dhereas, Mr. L. L. Belson visa employed on January lot, 1930 as a regular policeman

_r2±ce Department in the City or Paducah and was thereafter assigned to special patrol duty in the blob

.'j 71horeas, the said L. L. Nelson has since executed the same
(bond which has been required of other policemen of the City of Paducah: and has worked
„I continuously as Chief of the Park Police and as Park Superintendent, and he han perfon
'Imed all of the duties of a regular policeman except that his activities an such have
been confined to the public parks of the city; and,
idhereaa, the officials records of the City of Paducah
show that Mr. Nelson Ivan accepted as a regular police officer on January lot, 1930 and
;that he has since been continuously employed as such;
li I rove that the City of Paducah acknowledge by this motion the
yQemployment of the said L. L. Belson as a regular policeman and patrolman on January
7lot, 1330, and that he has been refularly and continuously employed in the police
department of the city since that date.
Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baler, Blsekburn, Dorian, Pulliam and
Ynyor Lackoy (5).
