Paducah Iron Company awarded contract for furnishinc as to-iala on nowaddition to River- side Hospital At a call meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commisaioners Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 10:30 o'clock A.M. on the 2nd day of � January, 1941, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the followln;; � ansi:ercd to their nsmos: Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and q Q Payor Lackey (5). a �+ Mayor Lackey stated reason for call, to -wit: For the purpose of recelvinr. and filing the bids on Riverside Hospital and to transact any other buslncos that may come properly before tl.e Idoeting. I, Mayor Lackey offered motion that the bids for structural steel, rein- forcing steel and miscellaneous iron for Riverside Hospital, submitted by the Paducah Iron, Company, Ii. A. Patter Supply Company, Geo. L. Mesker Company, Gus Yattorjohn, Vandevelde & Augustus, Goo. 9i. Katterjohn & Sons, be received and filed. PAdopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (5). uMayor Lackey offered the following motion: I move on advice of G. Tandy Smith, Jr., and Lir. Himpan, Superintendent of Construction for VIPA, that this Board concur in the City Manager's selection of Paducah Iron Company as low bidder on reinforcing steel at a figure of $1946.73; on structural steel and miscellaneous iron $.685.00; and on steel (metal) windows $2345.00. The above materials being for new addition to Riverside Hospital.
