At a regular meeting of the Uoard of Commissioners hold in the Com-
'missionera Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 o'clock P.fl, on the 24t
day of September, 1940, Mayor Lackey prodded and upon call of the roll the following
-answered to their names: Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and Mayor
Lackey (5).
Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.

STRE1 LIGHT Commissioner Baker offered motion that a petition signed by various
24th & Ky.
property owners in the vicinity of 24th and Kentucky Avenue requesting that a street
llght be installed at the intersection of 24th and Kentudky Avenue be received and
filed, and that the City Manager be directed to have a street light installed at that
intersection. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Blackburn,
;'Dorian, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (5).
Ordinance �' Mayor Lackey offered the following motion: I move that an ordinance
authorizing
issuance of entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND SAIL£ OF FUNDING BONDS OF THE CITY
Funding Bonds
(E64,OCO.00) OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY IN THE AGGREGATE AMOUiIT OF SIXTY-FOUR THOUSAND ($64,000.00)
adopted.
DOLLARS, THE PROCEEDS OF WHICH SHALL BE USED FOR THE PAYMENT AND REDEMPTION OF NOTES
AGAINST THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, IN A LIKE AMOUNT NOW OUTSTAaDING VALID OMIGAT-
�IONS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH", be adopted, and to be in full force and effect ten (10)
days thereafter. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Black-
