Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah August 20, 1940
At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Com-
missioners Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 oclock P.M., on the
20th clay of August, 1940, Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the following

Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read.

Y' Commissioner Baker offered motion that the petition signed by Mrs.
authorized Henry Ward, at al, requesting that a street light be installed at the intersection of
Clst & Wash.
21st and Washington Streets be received and filed, and that the City Manager be
directed to have a light instat.ted at that intersection. Adopted on call of the
roll: Yens; Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (4)..

city limits referred to
City Manager consider the advisability of adopting an ordinance reducing the boundary of the City
'Limits in order to exclude a 60 acre tract of land owned by/J. T. Kibler, be received
and filed and referred to the City Manager for his recommendations.

Kentucky) be received and filed and referred to the City Manager for his recommendat-
ions as to whether said ordinance should be adopted.
