St. 1 i,,ht Y' Commissioner Baker offered motion that the petition signed by Mrs. authorized Henry Ward, at al, requesting that a street light be installed at the intersection of Clst & Wash. 21st and Washington Streets be received and filed, and that the City Manager be directed to have a light instat.ted at that intersection. Adopted on call of the roll: Yens; Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (4).. J. Pierce, addressed J. T. Kibler's request to - heve farm excluded from to the City manager dated August 14th, 1940, requesting the Board of Commissioners to city limits referred to City Manager consider the advisability of adopting an ordinance reducing the boundary of the City 'Limits in order to exclude a 60 acre tract of land owned by/J. T. Kibler, be received and filed and referred to the City Manager for his recommendations. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (4). Mayor Lackey offered motion that reports of the Street and Sewer Street and Sewer Depart- /� ments July, 1940 reports; Departments of the City of Paducah for the month of July, 1940 be received. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (4). J Mayor Lackey offered motion that the attached form of ordinance Ordinance providing for Electrical Inspector ,(establishing and providing for an Electrical Inspector for the City of Paducah, referred to City Manager Kentucky) be received and filed and referred to the City Manager for his recommendat- ions as to whether said ordinance should be adopted.
