HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Book 20, Page 316, August 7, 1940No. 316 Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City cf Paducah August 7. 1940 __ At an adjourned regular meeting of tho Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioners Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 2 o'clock P.M., on the 7th day of August, 19402 Mayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Biker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (5). Mayor Lackey offered the following motion: I move that an ordinance Franchise Ordinance Introduced. entitled: "APT ORDINANCE CREATING A FRANCHISE OR PRIVILEGE TO FURNISH ELECTRICITY FOR LIGHT, POWER, HEAT AND ATTY OTHER PURPOSES FOR WHICH ELECTRICITY IS USED IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF SAID FRANCHISE OR PRIVILEGE" be introduced and remain on file for not less than one (1) week for public inspection in its completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and upon its adoption to be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter. Adopted on call of the Doll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (4). Nays; Commissioner Dorian (1) On motion meeting adjourned. ADOPTED ,1940 APPROVED s MA CI `CLERK 0
