Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read. ^raffle ii- 'I Commissioner Dorian offered motion that the City Manager be authorized to -ht 4th Je_fernon S: have a traffic liFht installed at the intersection of 4th & Jefferson Street, and also 1^th & Jeff at the intersection of 12th & Jefferson Streets. (purchase price to be determined on basis of 2000 pounds por ton) (3) Light scrap iron bought in by Maurice Pani::in at w7.10 per ton (rurclisa-e price to be determined on basis of 2000 pounds per ton). (4) Light brass and copper bought in by Maurice Baskin at 5-Y per pound. (5) Four (4) bicycles and all bicycle parts bought in by Buford ,filbert at X11.50. (6) Ono (1) bicycle bought in by R. A. Commissioner Baker offered motion that the payroll for the last Payroll -last June,111'.01' `half of June 1940 be allowed in the amount of $10285.21 and that the City Treaaux•er t:p authorized to pay same by checks drawn on the General Fund.
