At a regular meeting of the Board of Cocmlasionors held in the Com-
missionersv Chimber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:50 o'clock P.I'., on the
25th day of June, 1940, ideyor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the following
answered to their names: Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and ?Zayor
Lackey (5).
Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read.

'City of Paducah on June 24th, 1940 the following bids:
(1) Approximately 20 tons of street car rails bought by Yaurice Baskin
'at 010.25 per ton (purchase price to be determined on basis of 2240 pounds per ton)
(2) Approximately 10 tons of heavy road machinery, ineludin,- 10 ton
eCas street roller, bought in by Tick Bros at 07.75 per ton. (purchase price to be
determined on basis of 2000 pounds por ton)
(3) Light scrap iron bought in by Maurice Pani::in at w7.10 per ton
(rurclisa-e price to be determined on basis of 2000 pounds per ton).
(4) Light brass and copper bought in by Maurice Baskin at 5-Y per pound.
(5) Four (4) bicycles and all bicycle parts bought in by Buford
,filbert at X11.50.
(6) Ono (1) bicycle bought in by R. A. Johnson for y7.CO
(7) Zeveral cartons of cigarettes bought in by Joe Clark for 008.00
