Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read. Paducah Water Works ✓ ! Commissioner Pulliam offered motion that the financial report report for March, 1940 pP the Paducah Plater Liarka for the month of March, 1940, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and Mayor Lackey (5). �. Mayor Lackey offered motion that the City Treasurer be instructed James 17heeler given permission to operate to issue license to James Wheeler to cover the White Bros Doughnut Shop and that such DINut Wagon other permits be issued as are found necessary to permit its operation, upon payment �I P of proper license and fees required. 'i yl Mayor Lackey offered the following motion: I move that an Ordinance reducing City Limits ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE REDUCING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH BY i STRIKING OFF CERTAIN TERRITORY OWNED BY FLETCHER TERRELL ON NORTH 89H STREET IN SAID CITY, AND ACCURATELY DEFINING THE BOUNDARIES OF SUCH TERRITORY STRICKEN OFF KERLEY" be adopted. Mayor Lackey offered motion that the City of Paducah approve Waller & Threlkeld's bill for services in Barney payment to Waller & Threlkeld, Attorneys, the sum of $25.00 in settlement of their Akers case approved account for legal services rendered the City of Paducah for defense of the claim made by Barney Akers for their allowance of a pension.
