At an adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the Con-misaioncrs Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 2:00 o'clock P.N., on the 13th day of January, 1040. iayor Lackey presided and upon call of the roll the follow- ing answered to their names: Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Dorian, Pulliam and 1.:8yor Lr ckey (5). Commissioner Blackburn offered the following motion: The City of Paducah i Corporation Counsel having heretofore instituted a number of suits for the enforcement of liens against authorized to proceed with collection of de- property subject to delinquent taxes, and judgments ordering the sale of property linquent taxes subject to such delinquent taxes having been rendered in about fifty (50) of the suits which have been filed, but the sale of all of said property baving been suspended by action of the former Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah; I move that the Corporation Counsel be authorized to immediately proceed with the sale of all properties which have been ordered sold under judguents rendered in the McCracken Circuit Court. Provided, however, if any owner of property which is ordered to be sold shall, within a period of thirty (30) days from this date, make payment of 1/24 of all delinquent taxes owing by him and, at the time such payment is made, will assure the city treasurer the 1/24 of said deinquent taxes will be paid by him on the lot day of each month thereafter until the same are paid in full, the sale of said property will be suspended so long as he shall make said payments when the same become due in compliance with his agreement. :,dopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Baker, Blackburn, Pulliam and liayor Lackey (4).
