ORDINANCE NO. 2002-7- !a 5 4( 7
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY RELATING THERETO WITH THE
KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY FOR AN URBAN AND COMMUNITY
FORESTRY GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah applied for An Urban and Community Forestry
Grant adopted by Municipal Order No. 952 on May 14, 2002, for training of staff by the
Kentucky Arborist Association; and
WHEREAS, the Kentucky Department of Forestry has approved the application
and is now ready to award this grant.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute all
documents necessary relating thereto with the Kentucky Department of Forestry to obtain a
matching reimbursement grant in the amount of $12,042.00 for an Urban and Community
Forestry Grant. The City will provide matching funds in the amount of $12,042.00, for this
proj ect.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Project PA0037.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
