Chanter at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 3:30 oTclock P.it. on the 23rd day of
October, 1939, Mayor ^ashburn presided and upon cull of the roll the follo.:ing
answered to their names: Coranissioners Hank, Pulliam, 6tubblefield and Mayor �
Mashburn (4).

Yeager & Conurissioner Hank offered the following motion: An ordinance entitled: "AN

Ordinance to ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE UIPLOYMENT OF YEAGER AIR) VVHITE, CERTIFIED PUBLID ACCOUNTANTS1
employ for
1939 audit TO MAKE AN AUDIT OF THE ACCOUNTS OF 'SHE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR THE YEAR 1939, AND
PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT THEREFOR BY SAID CITY", having been introduced at a regular
meeting of the Board of Commissioners on the 16th day of October, 1939, and having 1
remained on file for one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which!
it shall be put upon its final passage, I move that said ordinance be adopted and to
go into effect ten (10) days from this date. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas;
Coar_issioners Hank, Pulliam, Stubblefield and Mayor 14aahburn (4).
Request for/ Mayor Washburn offered motion that the petition of residents on Jones Street
St. Light
