" Yeager & Conurissioner Hank offered the following motion: An ordinance entitled: "AN 1"bite - Ordinance to ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE UIPLOYMENT OF YEAGER AIR) VVHITE, CERTIFIED PUBLID ACCOUNTANTS1 employ for 1939 audit TO MAKE AN AUDIT OF THE ACCOUNTS OF 'SHE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR THE YEAR 1939, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT THEREFOR BY SAID CITY", having been introduced at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners on the 16th day of October, 1939, and having 1 remained on file for one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which! it shall be put upon its final passage, I move that said ordinance be adopted and to go into effect ten (10) days from this date. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Coar_issioners Hank, Pulliam, Stubblefield and Mayor 14aahburn (4). Request for/ Mayor Washburn offered motion that the petition of residents on Jones Street St. Light Jones ;t.- between 9th and 10th streets, requesting a street light, be received,filed and 9th d: 10th referred to the City Manager. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Plank, Pulliam, Stubblefield and Mayor Washburn (4). A Mayor Washburn offered the following motion: I move that an ordinance O-dinnnee to! rc,-ulate oc- entitled: "All ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT THE MAINTAINING, USE, OCCUPANCY OR LETTING OF cupancy of inaenitnry D'11x_,LLINGS VIHICH ARE SO INSANITARY OR OUT OF REPAIR AS TO BE DANGEROUS OR UNHEALTHY, d::ellings A11: PROVIDING FOR THE ABATEMENT THEREOF"', be adopted. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Corenissioners Hank, Pulliam, Stubblefield and Mayor Washburn (4).
