A.M. on the 15th day of August, 1939, Mayor ',,'ashbarn presided and upon call of the

Mayor 17ashbarn offered khe following motion: I move that the

by city employees pend of each department of the City of Paducah be instructed to prohibit the solicit -

Mayor 'Washburn offered the following motion: I move that an

x75,000.00 ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING TIS MAYOR AND CITY TREAS-
URER TO BORROW TIE SUM OF SEVENTY-FIVE TIOUSAND (075,000.00) DOLLARS FOR THE USE AND
cEEIIEFIT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND TO EXECUTE A NOTE OR NOTES FOR SAID SUIS
OR SUI.SS FOR AND OII BEHALF OF SAID CITY, AND TO PLEDGE THE RSVEIRIES OF THE CITY FOR THE
LAST OIIE-HALF OF THE YEAR 1939 AS SECURITY TH::JZEFOR", be adopted. Adopted on call
of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Hank, Melton, Pulliam, Stubblefield and Mayor 1Va3h-
burn (5).
