HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Book 20, Page 192, July 17, 1939Proceedings of T'oard of 00:mn+ ^+ones City of Paducah July 17. 1939 ' At a rolular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Corrnissioneral Chamber at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 2:30 oTclock P.M. on the 17th day of July, 1939, Commissioner Hank presided as Mlyor pro tem and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Mel ton, Pulliam, Stubblefield and Mayor pro tem bank (4). Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read. Payroll -first half Commissiober Hank offered motion that the payroll for the July, 1939 first half of July, 1939 be allowed in the amount of $9606.67 and that the City Treasurer be authorized to pay same by checks drawn on the General Fund. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Melton, Pulliam, Stubblefield and Mayor pro tem Hank (4). I now: move that the low bid of Broadray Tinners, Paducah, Kentucky, of $3190.00 be accepted, and that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute contracts with said concern. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Com- missioners Melton, Pulliam, dtubblefield and Mayor pro tem flank (4). Appropriation -Carson Commissioner Hank offered motion that the City of Paducah Parr. rair Assn. $50 appropriate the sum of $50.00 for an ad in the 1939 premium book to be published by the Carson Park Fair Association, and that the amount so appropriated be charged to th advertising expense of the city. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Com- misnioners'Nelton, Pulliam, Stubblefield and Mayor pro tem Hank (4).
