Commissioner offered the following motion: Horace Izeyors and �} extended- Und to 34th numerous other petitioners, having petitioned _the City for an extension of orator main along I!onroe Street from 32nd street to 34th street, a distancd of approximately 700 'fcot, and it appearing; from said petition that the petitioners agree in smiting and bind themselves to pay for water at the price equivalent to three (3) consumers gor each 300 feet of such cater main for a period of two (2) years,- I now move that said petition be received and filed and that the Commissioners of ':."star ,,, orks be authorized mpowered and instructed to extend said crater main by the use of a six (6) inch main I �approximately 'on !,:onroa Street from 32nd street to 34th street, a distance of pp Y 700 feet, and the city of Paducah agrees and bonds itself by the adoption of this motion to pay the water main rentals as provided for in said franchise; said payments to commence ,r:hen said water wain has been laid and water has been turned into same. Commissioner :'elton offered the following motion: I move that an ordinance Tae Levy ordinance entitled: "All ORDINANCE FIXING THE LEVIES AND RATES OF TAXATION ON ALL PROPERTY IN TILE for 1939 'CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, SUBJECT TO TAXATION FOR n.INICIPAL PURPOSES AND FOR 3CII00L PURPOSES FOR TIL YEAR 1939, AND THE RATE OF POLL TAX 'NiTH THE: PURPOSE OF SAID TAXES THEREUND-ER DEFINED", be adopted. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissionera Hank, Velton, Pulliam, Stubblefield and Mayor Washburn (5). Mayor Washburn offered motion that this Adjourned regular meeting of the Adjournment Loard of Commissioners be adjourned until Friday, April 28th, 1939 at 3:00 P.M.
