Commissioners Pulliam, Gtubblefield and Major pro tem Hank (3). Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read. ;I Commissioner Hank offerod the following motion: II. H. Hummel H. R. Hurvnel - claim". for services on having presented to the Board of Commissioners his claim against the City of Paducah Housing Com:.ission rejected & refused for a salary of $1500.00 which. he claims to be due for services rendered as Executive Director, General Manager, or Co-ordinator of the program of the City of Psaessr_ent Grdinance I;sid=.n Alley - Broadway to "er.tua:y Avenue Paducah Municipal Housing Commission from July 15th, 1938 to December 15th, 1938, and the question with respect to the validity of said claim having been referred to the Corporation Counsel for an opinion; And it appearing from the letter written by the Corporation Counsel to the honorable Edgar T. Washburn, Mayor, dated Larch 20th, a copy of which ,.gas furnished to each of the members of the Board of Commissioners, that he is of the oninion that the claim of the said H. H. Hummel does not constitute a liability ayains the 11it7 of Paducah and is not legally collectible; I now move that the Board of Commissioners reject the claim file by the said H. R. Hummel and refuse the payment by the City of Paducah of the amount claimed by him, or any part thereof. Adopted on call of the roll: Yeas; Commissioners Pulliam and Stubolcfiold and Mayor aro tem Hank (3).
